11, 18 & 25 MAY 2018
A brand new series of three seminars focused on the critical transition as you expand your activities beyond the day job into a not-for-profit board role. The WS Board Series provides the practical support to take this step, whether that involves a role with a public body, charity or membership organisation.
The series starts by looking at the mechanics behind joining a board and informs you of regulatory duties, essential responsibilities and what to look out for. Then there is a development session to help you identify your key strengths, what you will bring to the role and where you might face challenges. The series concludes with a panel of guest speakers, each sharing their insights and experiences on not-for-profit boards.
Participating in the WS Board Series is a unique opportunity to build a new network and offers practical support and development wherever you are in your working life.
