PURPOSES

To support the development of children and young people with additional needs, to enable them to maximise their capabilities and achieve as much independence as possible.

 

WHO MAY APPLY

Both individuals and organisations.

 

EXAMPLES OF GRANTS

  • Personal development grants to young people under the age of 25 with additional needs which impact their development.

  • Funding for organisations whose aims and objectives comply with Trefoil's objects.

  • Lilias Finlay Holiday Fund to individuals, families or small groups who meet Trefoil's criteria for development needs.

Organisational grants have recently been awarded to:

  • Able2Adventure CIC

  • Children with Cancer & Leukaemia Advice & Support for Parents (CCLASP)

  • Firsthand Lothian

  • Lothian Disability Sport

  • Positive Help

  • Team Jak Foundation

  • The Glasgow Group of the Riding for the Disabled

The deadline for the next round of applications will be Friday 23 August 2024 for personal development grants and Friday 23 August 2024 for organisational grants.
