Sophie recently supported The Brind Foundation (SC055422) achieve Charitable Status in Scotland. This involved advising the client on the most suitable legal structure, drafting the application for charitable status and Articles of Association, and guiding them through the regulatory process from submission to approval. 

The Governance and Charities team will now work with the trustees to create a suite of governance documents and grant making strategy.  

Kirsty manages Trefoil (SC013744), a Scottish grant maker and charity dedicated to helping children and young people develop their skills and achieve greater independence.  

In this role, she produces the annual report, oversees grant applications, and manages the charity’s inbox and website, as well as preparing materials for regular governance meetings.

Cady supports membership engagement and communications, event organisation, and social media for Scottish Grantmakers (SC050813), a charity dedicated to promoting best-practice funding across Scotland.
