Purposes

Glasgow Clyde Education Foundation is a grant making Foundation, established in 2014, to support the learning and life chances of students, potential students and the wider community that is served by Glasgow Clyde College. They fund strategic projects which have the potential to realise significant, measurable and lasting positive impact on students, potential students and the wider community’s learning outcomes.

Glasgow Clyde Education Foundation prioritise projects that create equal access to learning opportunities, take new but sustainable approaches and which represent leading and transformative educational practice within the College and wider learning sector.

Objectives

Glasgow Clyde Education Foundation aim to achieve the following three key outcomes through their grant giving:

  • Effective Learning: equity for students in accessing the best educational opportunities,

  • Improving Pedagogy: demonstrating effective practice, increasing educator confidence and increasing learner attainment

  • Increased capability and capacity of the College and its partners to deliver on the first two themes.
