Charity and Third Sector SIG met on Thursday 24 July. They were joined by Mark Wilson, co-founder of TrusteeConnect, to discuss 'Trustee Recruitment and Induction'.
Charity and Third Sector’s next meeting will be on Thursday 11 September. They will be joined by John Fitzgerald, Head of Digital Evolution at SCVO, who will discuss the use of generative AI in the third sector. Our Student SIG met on Wednesday 30 July. The students were joined by WS Member speaker Neil Hay, Solicitor-Advocate, for an informative and engaging session on career development. The event was well-received by attendees, who appreciated Neil’s candid advice and the opportunity to hear directly from an experienced practitioner in criminal law.
